Everybody who's asking about money and everybody who's dismissing this as a lifestyle for the rich. Don't be limited by your current beliefs about money. Whether you have a lot of it or none at all it does not bring you happiness or fulfillment. Happiness and fulfillment comes from within. This is something you realize the more you travel and see people living with absolutely nothing yet happier than anyone you know. Change your point of attraction about money. If you continue to focus on your lack of it, that is what you're going to continue to get. If you focus your attention and energy on the things that you want to do, money will come to help you accomplish your goals. In our case we had simply worked for a year to save up 10k each to go on our first trip which lasted 7 months. Since then we've built a business and a lifestyle around doing what we love. None of us have rich parents or any external help. Money isn't real anyways. Why let a bunch of made up numbers on your bank statement stop you from living life?

I'm going to sound like a prick but this video bothers me. Is this what you remember of your travels ? How you bungee jumped on the other side of the world, rafted down a river, and partied on a boat ? Things you most likely could have done without going abroad. Three years and the video you make out of it could be a tour operator's advert. So much for adventure. I do not mean to be rude nor write with any hostile feelings. I just don't see the point of travelling around the world just to pretty much live like you would on a sunny beach back home. Especially if you have time. Having time should seperate you from random tourists who stuff in sights like they would burgers. If i may just give one advice. If you have the time, go slow. Don't take planes. Avoid high speed trains and highways. Cross ocean's on a cargo ship if you can't manage to hop on a sail boat, cross countries by foot, on bike, skis. Making a watchable 3 minut movie out of it might not be possible, but you'ld have done so much more and gone so much further...

Is that zip line in Pokhara? I ask because the valley looks like Pokhara, and the fact that you went to Lumbini, Nepal.

crazy how people can find all sorts of excuses for hating on other people's accomplishments. Where there is a will, there is a way... It's DEFINITELY possible to save up 10k a year working a "regular" job, if you REALLY try (setting up a savings account, not spending on anything else than food/rent, etc.) Some people decide to live a certain lifestyle that doesn't leave any money for travelling. That's fine, because its THEIR choice. These guys decided to live a certain way in order to save up for travelling. once again, that was THEIR choice. You cannot judge someone for setting up a goal (in this case, travelling) and achieving it. On a side note I travelled Europe last summer for a month and did some of the stuff these guys did, such as renting rooms in hostels, renting quads to get around islands, etc. It is really not that expensive if you LOOK FOR DEALS and TRAVEL SMART, which ANYBODY can do. P.S. To the "High On Life" guys, you are absolutely amazing for putting together those travel videos. Thank you for inspiring people like me to travel more and enjoy LIFE!
