Nepal’s only international airport at Kathmandu will remain closed for a second day as efforts continue to remove the Turkish Airlines plane that crashed on landing on Wednesday. There were no casualties from the accident, but the stricken aircraft remains on the grass beside the runway, blocking takeoff and landing for other planes. The Indian Air Force has dispatched a Hercules transporter to assist with removing the airframe, and the airport is expected to reopen tomorrow. Read more: ekantipur.com
