Poland’s medical tourism industry has grown by ten percent in the last year, according to a new study by the Polish Association of Medical Tourism. Cosmetic surgery and dentistry are the most popular services for foreigners, with 390,000 using outpatient facilities in 2014. While rates for medical services remain low in comparison to similar procedures in western Europe, the average cost of a procedure has risen by 50% in the last year, to PLN3,600 (£635).
