Barcelona’s iconic food market bans tour groups

Barcelona’s famed La Boqueria foodie market, popular with tourists and locals alike, is set to ban tour groups of more than 15 people from entering the market during peak times. The restrictions will be in force on Fridays and Saturdays from 8am to 3pm.  The move is being implemented after La Boqueria stallholders petitioned for group access to be restricted to prevent overcrowding.
