New acoustic music festival set to launch just outside Nashville

A brand new music festival is coming to Tennessee this autumn, and it will include acts such as Willie Nelson, Nashville-native Sheryl Crow, and Iron & Wine. The Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will run from 26-27 September in Franklin, just outside of Nashville. According to the festival website, the idea for the new event was inspired by ‘friendship, history, and the desire to create a meaningful experience’. Many musicians will be playing an acoustic set and will perform on wooden stages. Read more: nytimes.com
