Budapest to host World Music Expo 2015 in October

Budapest will host the World Music Expo (Womex) 2015 from 21 to 25 October. The organisers have received more than a thousand applications from which they will select 70 bands and performers. The event will focus on music from Central and Eastern Europe, and it will take place in three venues: the Palace of Arts (on five stages), the Bálna cultural and entertainment centre and the A38 boat. There will also be an exposition featuring around 270 exhibitors. Read more: hungarytoday.hu
