A cat is now being cared for by an animal charity after it was abandoned at Oslo Gardermoen airport. Norwegian Airlines staff originally denied its owner – a woman in her 30s – permission to take the cat on board a flight to London as she hadn’t given prior notice. The check-in staff became suspicious when she returned without the cat 30 minutes later and attempted to check in without it. She claimed a friend had come to collect it, but the pet was later found in its cage in a quiet area of the airport.
