After failed negotiations, TAP pilots have confirmed they will walk out for a 10-day strike from tomorrow. The industrial action at Portugal’s national air carrier is set to affect about 300,000 passengers travelling over the May Day public holiday. However, a court ruling on Monday has ordered that flight routes considered crucial, including some domestic connections and several important routes to Europe such as to the UK, must continue to be served by a minimum number of flights throughout the strike period.
