Swiss authorities have seized the heads of two rare wild goats, which were being smuggled across the Basel border as hunter trophies.
Pakistan’s national animal, Markhor goats have long, corkscrew horns and are currently classified as ‘near threatened.’ with a global population of around 2,500. Federal Customs Administration has launched an investigation into the attempted smuggling of the wildlife trophies.
