Black sand and white houses, indigo sea and grey earth, green fields and petrified lava! The world famous island of Santorini is the southern most island of the Cycladic group in the Aegean sea, and is located 63 nautical miles north of Kriti. Its surface area is 73 sq. km. and its population, distributed among 13 villages, just exceeds 13.600 souls, accordingto the census of 2001.
The Santorini group islands is almost unique on a world wide level in being a volcano with a caldera (crater) in the sea. All of Santorini’s islands were formed in large part due to volcanic activity, which created a compound volcanic structure.
The last large explosion occurred 3.000 years ago (during the Minoan Age) when red-hot matter of ashes and pumice covered 3 islands. It is evident that the correct conditions were created in Santorini to allow for a perfect area for observation of the structural formation of a classic volcano, ideal for closer examination, providing an alluring invitation, as the island offers itself to its visitors for free just like a colored, three-dimensional “open” book.

Itinerary :
- You can use the catamaran just to go and come back, or you can have a guided excursion on the island (in six languages with separate coaches: english, german, french, italian, polish, russian). After the guided tours at Oia and Fira, you have three options: to stay at Fira, to go to Perivolos (black) beach for a swim or have an excursion with a local boat to the volcano and swim in thermal springs (1,5h).

119 € without excursion, 145 € with the excursion. Children 0 – 2 years old: free, 3 – 10 years old: half price.
Volcano Tour :
Excursion around the volcano cost 14 € and you can swim in hot springs (warm waters from volcano).
Optional :
Transfer from your hotel to the port and vice versa 12 € for adults and 6 € for children.
