Social media reunites backpacker with his photos

When Aussie Steve Carmody, found a GoPro camera washed up at Tweed Heads last month he turned to social media to find the owner of the broken camera, but unharmed memory stick. The photos (which had not been backed up) were soon returned to backpacker, Chris Hesford, who had lost the camera while kayaking in Byron Bay six months ago. He was halfway through a round-the-world adventure at the time and is amazed and grateful for the determination of Steve to find him. Read more: australiantimes.co.uk
