After passengers departed a Costa Rica–Houston flight, flight crew noticed an unusual stowaway remaining on board: a baby squirrel. The squirrel had apparently boarded in Costa Rica and travelled the flight unnoticed. A specialist from US Customs and Border Protection was called in to capture the squirrel. The animal will be quarantined then handed over to the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Read more: travelmole.com
