A leading human rights group has released a damning report about conditions faced by migrant workers on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island. Many are working on the multibillion-pound project to develop new Louvre and Guggenheim museums. Human Rights Watch’s reports says the workers are still living in squalid and unsafe conditions, subject to summary arrest and deportation. Abu Dhabi’s TDIC (Tourism Development and Investment Company) issued a statement rejecting the claims. Read more: america.aljazeera.com
