The largest manmade waterfall in Asia has opened to the public in China. The Niulanjiang Waterfall is a 12.5-metre-high, 400-metre-wide series of cascades located within a new dedicated public viewing park.
Authorities say the falls were created as part of a project designed to divert water into Dianchi Lake and help prevent flooding of the Niulan River. The park is open for free and is located in Panlong district in the northeast part of Kunming. Read more: chinadaily.com.cn
