Côte D’Ivoire gets US approval for direct flights

Côte D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) has received authorisation from the US Transportation Security Administration to commence direct flights between the two countries. The news, announced by a senior official at Ivory Coast’s National Civil Aviation Authority, was a long time in the making – Côte D’Ivoire has been seeking this authorisation from the United States for 15 years.
