New app iNakba has been launched, which plots the location of more than 500 Palestinian villages as they were in 1948. Each pinpoint on the interactive map shows the name of the village, its location, estimated population at the time and its story since. Launched by pro-Palestinian Israeli group Zochorot, the app has caused much controversy. There have been 12,000 downloads so far, some of which are thought to be by people using it to find the homes of their ancestors. Read more: washingtonpost.com and time.com
