Mountain gorilla rugby tackles wildlife photographer in Rwanda

A wildlife photographer visiting the mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park has captured the moment he was flattened by a 550lb gorilla. Akarevuro, a well-known silverback, clenched one of his fists before tackling the photographer ‘like a rugby player’ and storming into the rainforest to chase away a rival male who was trying to attract a female in his family group.
