The Orlando tourism board has announced their visitor numbers for 2014, and they are record breaking.
Over 62 million people came to Orlando in 2014 which is the first time a US destination has broken the 60 million mark. Visit Orlando President George Aguel credits the boom with investment in the city’s famous theme parks, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley area which opened in Universal Orlando in 2014 and Walt Disney World’s new area New Fantasyland.
