A new seaplane service flew between the Croatian coastal towns of Split and Dubrovnik for the first time on Monday this week.
The service, operated by European Coastal Airlines, cuts the time taken to get between the popular coastal resorts from several hours on water or land to just 45 minutes in the air. At present flights are landing at Dubrovnik airport, but the company plans to build a seaport closer to the beautiful walled old town. Read more: croatiaweek.com
