The first giraffe to be born in Singapore in 28 years has been named Jubilee in a tribute to the year it was born.
The baby giraffe entered the world at Singapore Zoo on 31 August last year, as the first baby of mother Roni and father Growie. Touted as the tallest baby born during Singapore’s 50th anniversary year at 1.9m tall, Jubilee now stands even taller at 2.7m.
