On Monday rodeo champions from around the world took to the slopes for the 41st Bud Light Cowboy Downhill, a skiing contest held in Steamboat Springs, CO, just northwest of Denver. Competitors take on a timed dual slalom, a jump and a lasso event – all in rodeo getup. Later the festivities get chaotic with the Stampede, a mass-start ski and snowboard race that sends cowboys and – girls hurtling down a mountain all at once.
