Tourists credited with arrest of poachers in Kruger

Tourists on safari in South Africa’s Kruger National Park were instrumental in the arrest of two suspected poachers over the weekend. The environmental news site, Oxpeckers.org, reported that the visitors spotted the two suspects on foot near Phalaborwa gate and immediately alerted rangers. With the help of the South African Police Service, the two men were arrested just before sunset on the same day. Two sets of rhino horns were recovered, along with a 458 hunting rifle, ammunition and other poaching equipment.
