The world’s first dedicated eSports arena will open in London next month. The 600-seat venue, part of a cinema complex in Fulham, already has over 25 events scheduled. Gamers will be flown from across the world to take place in tournaments for games including Call of Duty. The venture is a partnership between Vue cinemas and Gfinity, who organised an event in London’s Olympic Park last year that attracted around 4000 spectators. They hope to roll the concept out across the UK if it proves successful. Read more: standard.co.uk
